Mom on Gov’t Benefits for 30 Years Gives Her 10 Kids a Message That Has Taxpayers Cringing

A 49-year-old woman with 10 children from five different men has a lofty lifetime aspiration – to be the matriarch of Britain’s largest family on government benefits.
Mandy Cowie has been living on the government’s dime for 30 years:
“‘People may be shocked that I’ve been on benefits for so long but I don’t care. I can’t work because of the kids, and while the pregnancies weren’t planned, I love having a big family.
‘I probably wouldn’t get a job that would pay as much as I get now anyway. People might judge but if it’s there an offer, who wouldn’t take it?'”
The vast majority of people receiving longterm government assistance in Britain suffer from physical impairments or serious illness, but that’s simply not the case with Cowie.
The grandmother of 16 has no qualms about taking government benefits:
‘Ten kids and full of tattoos, mate. So what if I’m on the effing dole, mate – don’t like it, eff off. I had my first one at 18 and my last one at 36, and I’ve told them I want 50 grandkids before I die.’
Even though in the UK less than 1% of workless households have two generations who’ve never worked, Cowie’s not ashamed to give her 24-year-old daughter, Cristal, a mother of four kids herself, advice on gaming the system.
Cristal tells the Daily Mail:
“‘I’m still with the baby’s dad but he doesn’t live at my house. People say he lives there but he doesn’t.’
She added: ‘If we were to live together our benefits would get stopped, so we might as well be together and live in different houses.'”
People are, understandably, outraged:
As a side note, Cowie also admits to buying cigarettes and alcohol for her kids as rewards for good behavior.
