I want my reparations!!!!
So what's wrong with that?
This is sick when i think about what would be the life of those children, but the slavery of children today is even worse as they are being used by the illuminati as sex slaves, and how about the Latin American countries always being slaves to the American and Europeans and the poverty they still live in. This is disgraceful just to think that many of these criminals claim to be good Christians or good jews or good Muslims. We need change and the only change will come from above and then we will know who will be a slave in the end.
just goes to show, not all slavery was because of race, it was just because of easy access.
The great majority of these white children appear to be 'poor whites' and not mixed race at all. Only one of the 'whites' maybe mixed. There were hundreds of thousands of white slaves in America before the blacks came in. What is this being displayed for?
Why do you say "mixed" race and put "white" in inverted commas? These are obviously 100% WHITE children. There were plenty of white slaves. They were cheaper than black ones. And there were free blacks who owned black slaves as well. This is not a racial issue.
This photo gallery and commentary about the "white slaves of New Orleans"remind me of the laws passed in Louisiana following the Civil War in the 1870's. The state and New Orleans put laws on the books that attempted to define "black people". The laws strove to strictly impose the 18th - 19th century racist notion that defined the degree of "black people" based on "the fraction of black" based on their ancestral lineage. There were the terms mulato, guadroon, octoroon, etc imposed to establish "blackness" and therefore "slave class". So, it should not be surprising to see an 1860 photo of a "white slave" who may have had a "black" great grandparent in their family tree!
I am an adoptive mother in a multiracial family. To the person who doubts whether these children were really slaves, or really were mixed-race, I have a blond granddaughter who is one fourth African American. Had she been born in the south, prior to the Emancipation Proclamation, she could have been a slave.I think the people who arranged this tour had their hearts in the right place. They realized how important an education was to these people who had been slaves and they were doing whatever they could to raise funds to provide them that. You have to consider the time that they lived, and not judge them according to current understanding.
A pure race does not exit. All races are mixed, only divided by racial denial in fear of discovering their own blackness. The human family was born in Africa. We are one big mix family! Read about human and world history, and you will discover your beautiful self.
