    What the hell happened to the library? I grew up in NYC but I haven't been there in about four years. The nineteenth photo from the top shows the 42nd street library, including the lion named "Fortitude" (the other one is "Patience"), but the building itself seems to have been transformed into some modern structure reflecting nothing but bad taste.

    Please tell me that this is a computer-generated fake photo with a new building facade superimposed there rather than the result of some idiot deciding that the beautiful old building needed a yuppie makeover.
